3D is here, there and everywhere NVIDIA and 3D have become synonymous at Computex 2010. From the NVIDIA 3D Experience Center to the many NVIDIA partner booths across the halls, the message that “3D Starts Now” was delivered loud and clear. On May 31, NVIDIA’s President, Chief Executive Officer and Co-founder Jen-Hsun Huang told a tent overflowing with more than 200 worldwide media that the 3D PC revolution has begun. He impressed the audience with a dazzling 3D presentation showcasing NVIDIA technologies being used in movies, photos and games. In the NVIDIA 3D Experience Center, visitors got to experience for themselves the thrills and capabilities that 3D brings. Beyond trade visitors, NVIDIA also reached out to gamers and the public with the NVIDIA 3D Game Nights on June 1 and 2. While gamers fought it out on Street Fighter 4, spectators were able to catch the game blow by blow on the huge 300-inch screen in 3D. NVIDIA also organized half-hourly stage shows at its booth in Nangang and those of selected partners in all the halls. The highly entertaining shows drew the crowd and educated them on 3D in a fun and interactive way. NVIDIA’s 3D technologies and other leading products, such as NVIDIA GeForce, Quadro and ION, were showcased in 28 partner booths. Computex 2010 was also memorable for the award-winning NVIDIA GeForce GTX 480, which won the Best Choice of Computex Taipei 2010 – Jury’s Special Award. This is the second year running that NVIDIA has captured an award handed out by the Taipei Computer Association. The ION nabbed the Best Choice Overseas Enterprise award in 2009. Computex 2010 may have come and gone but there is more in store. NVIDIA took 3D photos of visitors to the NVIDIA 3D Experience Center and Nangang Exhibition Hall these few days. These special photos will be uploaded onto this website within this week. Please find your personal 3D photos here!! To learn more about NVIDIA 3D technologies or products, go to NVIDIA 3D Vision. |
