GPU Technology Conference

GPU Technology Conference Asia South 2015

Get a front row view of the future of visual computing at GTC Asia South

The graphics processor unit (GPU) is expanding its applications beyond traditional circles. It is driving developments in deep learning, accelerated computing and embedded computing.

At GTC South Asia, participants can get a detailed update on the exciting progress on these fronts. The event will take place at Suntec Singapore Exhibition & Convention Centre in Singapore on August 27.

This is the most important GPU event of the year in the region for GPU developers and the entire ecosystem. This year’s edition will highlight the growing revolution in deep learning and how technology is enabling the growing number of Smart Cities in Asia and around the world.

Delivering the opening keynote will be Marc Hamilton, Vice President, Solution Architecture, NVIDIA. He will be followed by Professor Qiang Yang, Technical Advisor to WeChat, Tencent and Paul Bonnington, Professor and Director of e-Research, Monash University, Australia.

One of the three tracks will zoom in on deep learning, which will focus on state-of-the-art research powered by GPU technology for image classification, video analytics, speech recognition, and natural language processing.

Another track will cover Smart City and how disruptive GPU-accelerated technologies are being used to support better management of transport and traffic, energy and water resources, safety and security, and healthcare in Smart Cities globally.

The final track will touch on accelerated science where participants can learn how others around the region are accelerating discovery and insight with GPUs.

Of course, beyond listening, the conference is also a platform for participants to talk to the experts, interact with peers and catch the latest technologies among the exhibits.
